Link Files to Item (File Selection) Dialog Box

Select files to link to an item.

To display the Link Files to Item dialog box, select an item and click Link Files to Item (toolbar), or right-click an item and select Link Files to Item.

Look in

Select the vault folder that contains the files to link to, then select one or more files.
Preview, Data Card, Version, Bill of Materials, Contains, Where Used

Tabs that display information about the selected file. Information is not displayed for multiple selections.

File name

Names of the selected files.
Files of type

Select the type of files to browse for: All Files (*.*) or CAD Files (*.sldasm;*.sldprt;*.slddrw).

Open

Proceeds to the next step.
