You can add ECAD material, thermal, and other properties to SOLIDWORKS board and component models as custom properties. You can include the custom properties in SOLIDWORKS BOMs.
To display CircuitWorks Options - Properties:
From the CircuitWorks Options dialog box, click Properties .
To display the CircuitWorks Options dialog box, do one of the following:

When a name you type in the ECAD Property Name column matches an ECAD file property name, the software creates a custom property of the same name for the SOLIDWORKS model, specifying the SOLIDWORKS custom property value with the corresponding ECAD file property value. When your ECAD Property Name value does not match an ECAD file property name, the software creates a custom property for the SOLIDWORKS model, setting the SOLIDWORKS custom property value as the value you type in the Default Value column.
