Chamfer faces cannot eliminate adjacent faces.
A cliff chamfer occurs if the width of the chamfer consumes the base part geometry, so that the chamfer face replaces one of the support faces. As a result, the chamfer becomes part of the base geometry. FeatureWorks does not recognize cliff chamfers.
