Auto-Size Options
Let you set
scaling rules when you import objects.
Minimum Size Limit |
Sets the smallest that a part should be if it imports too large. |
Maximum Size Limit |
Sets the largest that a part should be if it
imports too small. |
Scale Using Powers of Ten |
Applies a power of ten multiplier to increase or decrease the size of the original model when it is
auto-sized. |
Auto-Paint Options
Auto-Paint builds an association
between the names you give parts, appearances, or layers in your CAD package,
and the names of SOLIDWORKS Visualize appearances you assign to those
parts after import. Based on your naming pattern, SOLIDWORKS Visualize learns
how to Auto-Paint a model upon import.
For example, in CAD you
always name a tire layer “Tires,” and in SOLIDWORKS Visualize you
always paint the part called “Tires” with the Black Rubber appearance. With Auto-Paint options set, every time you import a model that has a part called “Tires,” SOLIDWORKS Visualize automatically assigns the Black Rubber appearance to that part. This
feature lets you pre-paint a model in the CAD package so
you do not have to assign appearances after you import the file.
Auto-Paint Data Storage |
Activates a persistent list of the
associations you make during usage. |
Used Storage |
Shows the amount of memory being used to store auto-paint information. |
Clear Auto-Paint Data Storage |
Clears the Data Storage list and lets you
start over. |
Maximum Storage |
Sets how big the Used
Storage list can get. |
