Removing Licenses from Users

Administrators can remove products from a user, even if the user is in a different location.

To remove a product from a user:

  1. Click the Members tab.
  2. Search for a user in the Find Members pane or click a username from the list.

    In the Member's page, the Assigned Products section lists all the products associated with the user and Available Products that have not been assigned.

  3. Select the product under Assigned Products and click Remove Product. Then click OK to confirm.

    The product moves to the user’s Available Products list.

If a user is using products in offline mode, you cannot recover and reassign their license until the user logs into SOLIDWORKS again over the internet, or until the user has been using the product in offline mode for 30 days, whichever comes first.
