Upon generating the mesh, the selected type of mesh approach appears as a subnode under the Mesh node.

In the PlasticsManager tree, right-click Mesh to select the required meshing approach.

Search 'Simplified Mesh Hierarchy' in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base.
