Customizing a 3D PDF Template

Available in SOLIDWORKS MBD.

You can customize a template by including features such as a background, text blocks, and images.

To customize a template:

  1. With a part or assembly open, click 3D PDF Template Editor (MBD toolbar).
  2. In the SOLIDWORKS 3D PDF Template Editor, specify the template options.
  3. Click Save .
    To use a custom 3D PDF template, add the file location to the 3D PDF Themes folders. Click Tools > Options > System Options > File Locations . In Show folder for, select 3D PDF Themes. Click Add, browse to the custom 3D PDF templates, and click OK.
