Managing (Default) Document Properties

You can view or change document properties for the active Composer file. You can also set default document properties for new files created by importing CAD files.

This is done in the Document Properties dialog box, or in the Default Document Properties dialog box. To display this dialog box, click File > Properties > Document Properties or Default Document Properties .

Notes:

  • Some Document Properties pages are available from publication dialog boxes, such as Save As Composer and Save As Package.
  • Application preferences and default document properties are shared by all versions of Composer applications (Composer, Sync, Composer Player) installed on a given computer. The registry settings created when you change application preferences or default document properties are not removed when you uninstall Composer.
  • Administrators can restrict which document properties and application preferences team members can modify. See Disabling Document Property and Application Preference Modifications.
