Routing Component Wizard - Component Attributes Section

You can use the Component Attributes section to view part attributes and their values.

Use a design table for parts that have more than one configuration.

To display this section, do one of the following:
  • Click Tools > Routing > Routing Tools > Routing Library Manager, and click Routing Component Wizard .
  • From the Windows Start menu, click All Programs > SOLIDWORKS version > SOLIDWORKS Tools > SOLIDWORKS version Routing Library Manager > Routing Component Wizard .

Configuration Properties

Configuration Specifies a configuration to see the individual configuration's properties.
Name Lets you define a name for a new configuration property.
Type From the list, select a type.
Value Enter a value based on the Type for a new property.

File Properties

Name Enter a name for a new file property.
Type From the list, select a type.
Value Enter a value based on the Type for a new property.

SKey Description

Specifies an SKey for the part. If you select an SKey that has asterisks in the suffix, enter a value for Enter remaining SKEY characters.

Component Type

Displays the component type that you specify in the Route and Component Types section.

Sub Component Type

Displays the sub component type that you specify in the Route and Component Types section.

Routing Component Wizard - ISOGEN Attributes

Enter an Skey value for the component if you plan to export piping and tubing data as a PCF file for use in other piping applications such as ISOGEN™. See your ISOGEN application for more details.
