Saving SOLIDWORKS Files as Portable Network Graphics Files

You can save SOLIDWORKS files as *.png files.

To save SOLIDWORKS files as Portable Network Graphics files:
  1. Click File > Save as.
  2. In Save as type, select Portable Network Graphics (*.png).
  3. Optional: For Description, enter the text that describes your file.
  4. Optional: Click View PNG after saving.
  5. Optional: Click Options to select output options, and do the following:
    1. Select TIF/PSD/JPG/PNG.
    2. Under Output as, select Image type, Remove Background, and other options.
    3. Under Print capture options, set DPI, and Paper size.
    4. Click OK.
