Show contents while dragging drawing view |
The model displays as you drag a view. When cleared, only the view boundary shows while dragging.

|
Allow auto-update when opening drawings |
Drawing views update automatically as the drawing document opens. Clear this option to open drawings more quickly. |
Save tessellated data for drawings with shaded and draft quality views |
If cleared, file size is reduced by not saving tessellated data in drawing documents with shaded and draft quality views. The data is read from the model file if it is required. In view-only mode and in eDrawings, nothing appears in the drawing view. For drawings with high quality and other display types, tessellated data is not used, so file size cannot be reduced. |
Turn off Automatic Solve Mode and Undo and turn on No Solve Move when drawing view contains more than this number of sketch entities |
Enables and disables Automatic Solve Mode and Undo. It also turns on No Solve Move and modifies the threshold limit. |
Include Detailing Mode Data when saving |
Affects how Detailing mode data is handled when you save a drawing after editing it in Detailing mode.
- If the option is selected:
The Detailing mode data is saved when you save the drawing. If you save and close the drawing and reopen it in Detailing mode, you can continue to edit the items you created or modified in Detailing mode.
- If the option is cleared:
The Detailing mode data is resolved when you save the drawing. The items you created or modified in Detailing mode can no longer be edited in Detailing mode.
You might want to clear the option if your drawing contains many draft-quality views. Detailing mode data requires high-quality views. If you include Detailing mode data when saving, the software converts all draft-quality views to high-quality views. This can result in a significant increase in the time required to save the drawing.
You also might want to clear the option if your drawing contains many non-hole wizard holes or many silhouette edges. These can also result a significant increase in the time required to save a drawing, especially an assembly drawing.
