Applying Custom Operations in Sheet Metal Parts

You can apply custom operations in the sheet metal template or in the CostingManager.

Applying Custom Operations in the Sheet Metal Template

To apply custom operations in the sheet metal template:

  1. In the Costing Task Pane, under Costing Template:
    1. Select the template to edit.
    2. Click Launch Template Editor.
  2. In the dialog box, click Custom.
  3. Under Always Include, select Yes or No:

    Yes

    The Setup Cost is always included in the overall cost and appears in the Setup FM_folder.gif folder in the CostingManager.

    No

    The Setup Cost is not included in the overall cost. To add the Setup Cost to the overall cost, in the CostingManager, right-click the Setup FM_folder.gif folder and click Select Setup Cost, then click the setup cost.
  4. Click Save Tool_Save_Standard.gif.

Applying Custom Operations in the CostingManager

To apply custom operations in the CostingManager:

  1. At the top of the CostingManager, click Add Custom Operation Costing_Create_Custom_Operation.gif.
  2. In the PropertyManager, under Operation, select a custom operation.
  3. Click PM_OK.gif.
