Variable Pattern PropertyManager

To open the Variable Pattern PropertyManager:

  • Click Variable Pattern (Features toolbar) or Insert > Pattern/Mirror > Variable Pattern.

Features to Pattern

Features to Pattern Creates the pattern using the feature you select as the seed feature.
Reference geometry to drive seeds Makes dimensions of selected reference geometry available for inclusion in the pattern table. Select a reference axis, reference plane, reference point, curve, 2D sketch, or 3D sketch.

Table

Create/Edit Pattern Table Opens the pattern table for editing.
Update Preview Calculates each pattern instance to create a preview in the graphics area. More instances increases the calculation time.

Options

Propagate visual properties Uses the appearances and colors of the seed feature in the pattern instances.

Failed Instances

Lists the failed pattern instances.
