Decimate Mesh Import Options

To set import options before opening a graphics mesh file:

Click Tools > Options > Import.
For File Format, select STL/OBJ/OFF/PLY/PLY2 and click Import as Graphics Body.
For Unit, select Millimeters.
Click OK.

Search 'Decimate Mesh Import Options' in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base.
