Dragging to 3DEXPERIENCE Apps

In the Design with SOLIDWORKS app, you can Alt + drag items from the FeatureManager design tree in SOLIDWORKS models to 3DEXPERIENCE platform apps and widgets.

You must first save models to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to enable Alt + drag functionality.

You can drag these items from the FeatureManager design tree:

Part root node
Assembly root node
Drawing root node
Assembly components

You can drop items into 3DEXPERIENCE apps such as Bookmark Editor.

Search 'Dragging to 3DEXPERIENCE Apps' in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base.
