Using Numeric Values to Define Coordinate Systems

In parts and assemblies, you can define coordinate systems by entering absolute numeric values for position and orientation.

In the Coordinate System PropertyManager, under Position, select Define position with numeric values and enter numeric values for the X, Y, and Z coordinates (, , and ). The values define the position relative to the local origin, not the global origin (0, 0, 0).

To rotate the coordinate system, under Orientation, select Define rotation with numeric values and enter numeric values for at least one axis. The axes always rotate in the sequence , then , then .
