SOLIDWORKS Electrical has an integrated clipboard feature independent of Windows. The elements placed on the clipboard automatically replace those there previously.

Cut

Places a copy of the selected drawings (of the book or folder) on the SOLIDWORKS Electrical clipboard and delete the originals.

Copy

Places a copy of the selected drawings (of the book or folder) on the SOLIDWORKS Electrical clipboard and keep the originals.

Paste

Pastes the drawings present on the SOLIDWORKS Electrical clipboard. The drawing numbers and component marks for the components which are present in these drawings are automatically recalculated (where applicable) according to the marks existing in the electrical project.

Paste Special

Identical to the Paste command. A dialog box opens allowing you to manage marks.

 

Note that the Cut command is not available when right-clicking on a book.
