Change function

Contextual menu of a drawing: Change function

The Change function command works across multiple drawings.

Drawing properties: Function

Each drawing is associated with a function. This function is defined when the drawing is created. By default, the function is the one associated with the book.

When this command is selected, the function selection dialog box opens, allowing you to select the desired location.

The components initially associated with the drawing's original function can be associated with the new function. A dialog box opens allowing you to select the desired options.

Change component function: Components with the same function as the drawing are automatically associated with the new function. If the component was drawn on several drawings, all symbols representing the component are associated with the new function (even if the drawings are not affected by the change of function). For terminal strips, only the function of the terminals is changed. The terminal strips are attached to remain in their initial function.

Change drawing function only: The drawing itself is associated with the new function, and no changes are made to the content of the drawing.

Cancel: Cancels the current command. No changes are made to the drawing or its content.
