Generate report drawings

In this chapter, the generic term Report is used to refer both to Reports and Design rules. These two report types are based on the same features and are managed in the same way.

 

This command lets you generate or update report drawings.

 

Report management: Generate drawings

Design rule management: Generate drawings

 

The reports are generated at the book level. If the project contains folders, click the [...] button on the right side of the report and select the preferred destination folder (Multi-selection is available).

Check the boxes next to the reports you want to generate and click on OK to create the reports.

Select configurations...: Opens a dialog to manage which reports will be generated as drawings.

All reports of the project: Generates all project reports drawings.

Update selected reports: This option is active when the book or folder already contains reports. Use this option to update these drawings.

 

According to the electrical project configuration settings, the report drawings can be updated when you launch certain actions, such as; printing, exporting, revision, or project archiving.
