Revisions
Only books, cover pages, and drawings
are assigned revision numbers. Revision numbers are managed individually,
rather than on a project level. Revision numbers are formatted according
to the electrical project configuration
parameters.
You can set the revision index during drawing creation.

An option dialog box opens asking
you if you want to update the report and terminal strip drawings (according
to the electrical
project configuration settings).
Update
drawings: The report, design rule, and terminal strip drawings
are updated before running the command.
Continue
action without updating: The report, design rule, and terminal
strip drawings are not updated and the command runs.
Cancel:
The command stops and drawings are not updated.
The revision index is managed in three steps. The first is the index
creation, in the second step the index is validated and then the index
is verified.
When a revision index is managed on a book, you can propagate this index
to all the drawings within this book.

New revision: Creates
a new revision index. The last revision must first be validated
before creating a new revision. |

the last revision index. This records the date and user name with
which the revision was validated. |

Remove validation:
Removes the last statues to the last revision index. |

Delete: Deletes
the last revision index. |

Properties: Opens
the revision properties
dialog box to edit data associated with the revision index. |

Restore:
Allows you to restore a snapshot attached to a revision index. |
The Customize... button lets
you access user data parameters specifically related to revision indexes.
After a new revision index creation, different dialog boxes open to
let you print the book documents, to export the book documents to PDF
file and to create a snapshot.
