Access right configuration

 

Contextual menu of a book: Access rights > Configure access rights

 

This dialog box has two modes to manage the user rights assignation, depending on the mode (Tree view) you choose.

- When you active View by book option, you must assign the user groups to the displayed books.

- When you active View by groups option, you must assign the project books to the displayed groups.

 

Select books: This option is available if you selected the View by groups option. Select the user groups and click the command. The Document selector dialog box opens allowing you to select the authorized books for the selected user groups.

Select groups: This option is available if you selected the View by books option. Select the books and click the command. The user group selector dialog box opens allowing you to select the groups that will manage the selected books.

Delete: Deletes the selected association.

Tree view: Lets you select the modes (View by groups or View by books).

 

By default, a book is associated with all groups (can be edited by all users).

A specific icon appears before the book to materialize its restricted access.
