Hatch

Menu: Draw > Hatch

 

Opens the Hatches dialog box to provide options for filling the area between or inside drawing entities with selected hatch patterns.

You can select the entities in the document that define the hatch area before clicking Hatch. Or, you can select the entities after clicking Select objects in the Hatches dialog box.

 

Select objects: Lets you select the objects materializing the area outline to be hatched.

Type: Select a Pre-defined pattern or Defined by the user.

Pattern: This option is available only if Pre-defined is selected. Select the pattern type.

Color: Select the pattern color.

Angle: Select the pattern angle.

Scale: This option is available only if Pre-defined is selected. Select the pattern scale.

Spacing: This option is available only if Defined by the user is selected. Enter the distance between two lines.

Double: This option is available only if Defined by the user is selected. Select if you want to add perpendicular hatches.

 

When you click OK, the hatches are automatically generated.

 

You should not use this entity type to generate an electrical scheme. The graphical entities placed with this command are not managed in the electrical project database.
