Menu: Draw > Insert block

Inserts a block (a group of entities) into the file.

The control launches a dialog box sequence that lets you either add blocks specified in the current block definition table or insert the block content of an external DWG file into the document.

If the block contains attributes, you can edit them while inserting the block into the active file.

Browse: Lets you select a DWG file stored at your workstation. All the entities of this file are inserted as a block.

Block name: If this option is activated, you must select in the list, the name of the block to insert.

Explode: Explodes the inserted block. All entities constituting the block are inserted separately.

Insertion point

Sets the coordinates of the insertion point. Select Specify later to set the insertion point when you insert the block in the graphical area.

Scale
