I/O properties

Input/Output management: Properties

 

The Input/Output properties dialog lets you modify addresses, mnemonics, and descriptions.

General

Function: Allows to associate the I/O to a function. Click the [...] button to open the function selector.

Type: Display the type of I/O.

Component: Displays the PLC mark.

Reference: Displays the manufacturer part associated with the component.

Channel address: Displays the I/O address. This is calculated automatically according to the electrical project configuration parameters.

Mnemonic: Allows to enter the mnemonic associated with the I/O.

Associated macro: Allows to associate a macro with the I/O. Click on the line to open the macro selector.

Description

The first translatable data of the I/O. You can enter a description in all languages managed in the electrical project.

User data . Translatable data

The user data fields can be used to enter all information you would like to manage regarding the I/O.

 

The Customize... button lets you access the user data configuration.
