If you select a single wire or a conductor of a multiple wire, the dialog
displays the properties of this selected element.
If you select several single wires, a multiple wire, or the conductors
of a multiple wire, it displays the common properties of these elements.
All the changes are automatically propagated in the existing drawings.

Select a wire or a conductor and click on the Properties
icon, or select the Properties
option from the contextual menu. |
Single wire or conductor properties
Wire style
Name: The name of the wire style.
Numbering group: The group the
wire is a part of.
General
Conductor: The type of conductor.
This can be a non-electrical conductor.
Line color: Click the button
[...] to select the color of the
line representing the wire.
Line type: The type of line
representing the wire.
Line width: Set width to a specific
wire. This width is automatically applied to the wires in schemes.
Equipotential formula: Click
the button [...] to access the
Formula
management and define a formula for the equipotential
numbering.
Wire formula: Click the button
[...] to access the Formula management and define a formula
for the wire numbering.
Propagate data: Check the box
if you accept that the wires of this wire style can be updated by the
Propagate
data feature.
Cabling
This section is for the parameters used in wire routing. If you associate
a cable reference, these fields are automatically updated by the reference.
These settings will be applied to all wires of this type drawn in the
schematic drawings.
Diameter: The diameter of the
wire.
Section or gauge: The section
of the wire.
Wire size standard: The standard
used in the electrical project.
Wire color: Click the button
[...] to select the real color
of the wire. This color will be used
in 3D routing.
Bend radius factor: Enter the
value of the bend radius factor. Generally, the manufacturer provides
this value. It is used to calculate the bend radius.
Bend radius (bend radius factor X Diameter):
This value is automatically calculated using the bend radius factor and
the diameter. You can change it if necessary. This
value is used for the cable 3D routing.
Linear mass: Allows you to specify
a linear weight (density) for wires with different units (kg/km, g/m...)
to distribute the weight of wire all along his length. This is used in
particular to calculate the center of gravity of 3D assembly.
Cable reference: Click the button
[...] to associate a cable reference.
Technical data
Voltage: The voltage of the
wire.
Frequency: The frequency of
the wire.
Description
Enter the description in each of the different languages used in the
electrical project.
User data
The user data allows you to store personal data to the wire.
Translatable data
Translatable data are specific user data that can be translated.
Multiple wire properties
When you select a multiple wire, the properties displayed are those
of all the conductors of this wire. Only common properties can be changed.
