Modify dimension style

Menu: Modify > Dimension styles > Modify

 

Opens the Modify dimension style dialog box for editing and previewing an existing dimension style. This dialog box also sets the parameters of a new dimension style.

The right side of the dialog box shows a preview of the selected dimension styles.

Lines and arrows

Dimension line: Defines the color and thickness of the dimension line. The Baseline spacing parameter is not yet implemented.

Extension line: Defines the color and thickness of the extended lines. You can also manage the position and the length of extended lines.

Arrowheads: Defines the size of the arrows .

Text

Text appearance: Defines the color, style, and height of the text materializing the dimension value.

Text placement: Defines the position of the text materializing the dimension value.

Text alignment: Defines the alignment of the text materializing the dimension value.

Adjust

Fit options: Optimizes the dimension placement.

Adjustment: Defines small dimensions.

Dimension object scaled: Defines the scale factor assigned to the dimension objects.

Main units

Linear dimension: Defines the precision and separator for linear dimensions.

Measurement scale: Defines the scale factor for all dimensions (Real value x scale factor = displayed value).

Angular dimension: Defines the measurement mode and precision for angular dimensions.
