Insert terminal

Menu: Schematic > Insert

When using this command for the first time, the symbol
selector dialog opens to let you select the symbol you want to insert.
This symbol is then saved, and it will be available for insertion when
you use the command next time.
The dockable panel displays available options.

Select the symbol representing your terminals
If the default symbol is not the one you want, click on the Other
symbol button.
The symbol selector will be displayed with a filtered list of terminals,
where you can select the terminal symbol you need.
Symbol orientation
This option lets you rotate the symbol prior to insertion. You can also
select the angle of rotation by right-clicking with the mouse.
1. Click on
the drawing to insert the terminal.
2. If the terminal
is inserted on a wire, you will be prompted to define its orientation
with respect to cables.
3. The terminal
properties dialog box will then be
displayed.

4. Click two
points corresponding to the endpoints of a line perpendicular to the wires.
5. At each intersection
between this line and a wire, a terminal is inserted.
6. Define the
orientation of the terminals.

Options
Draw axis line: Axis drawing
is optional. Uncheck the box if you don't need the axis lines.
The terminal properties dialog box
will then be displayed.
