Optimize wire cabling order
The cabling order optimization command works alongside the cabling
order management command. Its behavior is different depending on whether
or not you have created a 2D cabinet layout.

|
Menu: Electrical
project > Optimize wire cabling order |
If you have created a 2D cabinet layout, cabling order optimization
takes into account the position of components inserted in the cabinet
to limit the length of the wires.
If there is no 2D cabinet layout, optimization will be performed using
the position of components in the scheme drawings.
Selection
Whole project: Handles all of
the electrical project complex equipotentials.
Current book: Handles the equipotentials
present on the drawings of the book which contains the current drawing.
Wires selected in scheme: Only
handles the equipotentials of the wires currently selected in the drawing.
Selected locations: Opens the
location selector, letting you select the locations to handle.
Action
Remove manual wire cabling order:
Removes and recalculates the manual cabling order (performed manually
by the user).
Remove cable core association:
Cabling order optimization does not handle wires representing a cable
core by default. Select this option to automatically uncable the wires
handled.
Remove bridges: Cabling order
optimization does not handle connections representing bridges by default.
Select this option to automatically delete the bridges.
Cabling direction in 2D cabinet layout
Select the direction you want to optimize the cabling order from the
2D cabinet layout.
