Create a scheme macro

Dockable panel: Macros |
To create a macro,
1. Open the
drawing that contains the elements you want to store in the library.
2. In the dockable
panel, activate the Macros tab.
3. In the graphical
zone, select the entities you want to save
At this step, you have several possibilities to create the macro:
4. Drag and
Drop them into one of the sections of the palette.
Or,
4. Use the Save into macros command of the
contextual menu of a macro group.
Or,
4. Use the Copy with insertion
point command of the Edit
menu.
5. Use the Paste as new macro command of the
contextual menu of a macro group.
A dialog box opens allowing you to
fill in the data relating to the macro.
This macro is automatically added to the Macros
management and will be available for insertion into other electrical
projects.
In the dockable panel, a drop-down menu allows you to access the specific
commands.

Add existing macros:
Lets you select a macro stored in the library and add it to the
list of macros in the palettes. |

Save selection into macros:
Allows you to save the selected elements into a macro. The macro
is created in the group where the command is launched. |

Paste as new macro:
If you have used the Copy
with insertion point command, the selected graphical
elements in the clipboard can be pasted as a new macro. |

Edit this macro: Opens the macro in the graphical
interface for modification. The macro is viewed as an electrical
project. It appears in the Pages
tab in the dockable panel. |

Delete this macro:
Deletes the selected macro from the palette (it is not deleted
from the library). |

New group: Creates
a new macro group. |

|
Group properties:
Accesses the selected group’s properties. |

Delete group: Deletes
the selected group |
|
Activate group:
Activates the group that is selected from the contextual menu. |
