Unarchive an existing electrical project

Electrical project management > Unarchive

Unarchiving an electrical project lets you restore a previously archived electrical project. This consists of opening an electrical project which had previously been archived. SOLIDWORKS Electrical will prompt you to select the archived TEWZIP file.

The unarchiving command has 2 options. The first Unarchive option lets you unarchive the electrical project with options. The second Unarchive and open option lets you unarchive the electrical project and open it automatically without selecting options. The properties of the electrical project are automatically validated and the data is not updated.

The electrical project properties dialog box opens allowing you to modify electrical project data. After validation, a new dialog opens, where you can define what data will be imported and how it will be handled.

If the update option is selected, the update wizard will be opened automatically, where you can manage the data to be unarchived.

A pop-up will then ask whether the electrical project should be opened immediately or whether you want to stay in the Electrical projects management.
