Mechanical
Toolbox includes a collection of data tables that represent existing
industrial and national standards. It is highly recommended that you create your own
standard from one of the standards provided.
You manage standards using the Toolbox -
Standards dialog box.
Mechanical
Toolbox distinguishes between basic and custom standards. In the
Toolbox - Standards dialog box:
- Basic standards are listed
with a flag (for example,
or
). You cannot modify, rename, or
delete basic standards.
- Custom standards are listed
with a
symbol. You can copy any standard
and save it as a new custom standard that you can edit, rename, or delete.
By default,
Mechanical
Toolbox uses the basic standard ANSI
Inch as the active standard. You can change the active standard by using
the Activate command or select No active standard.
