Opening OLE Objects for Modifications

Use the OpenOLE command to open an OLE object in its source application. When you make changes the object updates in the drawing.

To open OLE objects for modifications:

  1. Type OpenOLE at the command prompt.
  2. In the graphics area, select an OLE object.

    The source application of the object (spreadsheet software, for example) opens.

  3. Make the changes you want and close the application.

    The OLE object in the drawing updates automatically.
