You can extract characteristics from a
file
with tools on the Document ribbon. After you extract
characteristics,
you can modify the extracted items.
Two extraction methods are available:
- Auto Extract. Automatically applies balloons to
characteristics in CAD models, drawings, and PDF files, which reduces the time and effort needed to balloon
documents.
- Manual Extract. Lets you apply balloons to
characteristics in CAD models, drawings, and PDF files.
