When
you install or upgrade the SolidNetWork License Manager Server, you need to activate or
reactivate the license. You can activate or reactivate the license over the internet or
choose to do it manually.
When you
activate manually:
- For a new SolidNetWork License Manager Server, you need to
activate twice to configure the server correctly. You are initializing the
license system on the server the first time you activate. The second time you
repeat the procedure, you are activating the license.
- For an upgraded SolidNetWork License Manager Server, you need to
reactivate the existing license. If the server does not have activated licenses,
you run activation by using Modify on the
Server Administration tab instead.
