Initializing a New SolidNetWork License Server To initialize a new SolidNetWork License Server: After installing and opening the SolidNetWork License Manager Server, click Yes when prompted to activate. In the SolidNetWork License Server Information dialog box, verify the Firewall and Ports, and click Next. In the Product Activation Wizard, select the Serial Numbers to activate, select Manually via E-mail as the activation method, and enter the Email Contact Information. The manual method requires that you create a request file and email it to activation@solidworks.com. When you receive the email containing the license response file, extract the file, and click Open to load it to the server. You can close and rerun the Product Activation Wizard to open and load the response file.
