Calculate Cable Duct Filling Ratio

Calculates the filling ratio based on the number and diameter of wires and cables passing through the duct.

This functionality works for routing with 3D sketches in SOLIDWORKS or SOLIDWORKS routing.

This ratio does not update automatically, so you need to run this tool after making any routing changes.

To calcute cable duct filing ratio:

In the menu, click Tools > SOLIDWORKS Electrical > Calculate Cable Duct Filling Ratio .

The ratio appears in the manufacturer part properties assigned to the duct. You can summarize the duct filling ratio with the design rule: Filling_Rate_Of_Duct_Metric. This rule displays duct filling ratio warnings and errors when the filling ratio approaches specified limits.
