Align Components

Align Components works the same way as terminal strip insertion.

You can access Align Components from:

SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D menu: Align Components .
In the menu, click Tools > SOLIDWORKS Electrical > Align Components .

This tool lets you align and center components on a rail and defines the space between them.

The dockable panel updates with various options.

Select Components to Align

In the graphics area, select the components to align in the order that you want them placed.
Select an alignment.
Spacing is the clearance value that separates the components.

Components without Faces Defined

List invalid components. Lists the components selected for alignment which have no defined faces. These components will not be aligned.
