- Create a cutting plane through the center of your model:
- Click

- In the viewport, press
Alt to enable curve detection, position your mouse pointer over your model until
indicates the correct position (alignment does not matter), and then click.
- In the Properties pane, for
Axis, select the alignment you want.
- Click
to create a second cutting plane.
- Click
to toggle between a thin cut and a thick cut.
- Drag the edge of the second cutting plane to rotate to achieve a 45-degree cross section.
- For each cutting plane, in the Properties pane, set the
Opacity to 0 and
to the same color.
- If you want only some actors to be cut:
- Select the actors you want to cut.
- Click
