Categories and Subcategories for Motion Analysis Results

You can select from different categories of results in the Results PropertyManager. Each category has a different set of subcategory options.

To open the Results PropertyManager:

Open a Motion Analysis type motion study: From a motion study for an assembly, select Motion Analysis for Type of Study.
Click Results and Plots (MotionManager toolbar).

Categories	Subcategories
Displacement/Velocity/Acceleration	Trace Path. Show on-screen graphics, tracing the path of a vertex. Center of Mass Position. Linear Displacement. Select 2 points from separate parts. Linear Velocity. Linear Acceleration. Angular Displacement. Select 3 points from two or three parts. Angular Velocity. Angular Acceleration.
Forces	Motor Force. Motor Torque. Reaction Force. Reaction Moment. Friction Force. Friction Moment. Contact Force.
Momentum/Energy/Power	Translational Momentum. Angular Momentum. Translational Kinetic Energy. Angular Kinetic Energy. Total Kinetic Energy. Potential Energy Delta. Power Consumption.
Other quantities	Euler Angles. Pitch/Yaw/Roll. Rodriguez Parameters. Bryant Angles. Projection Angles. Reflected Load Mass. Reflected Load Inertia.

For vector results such as forces, selecting Magnitude for the result component yields only positive values. For scalar results such as angular displacement, selecting Magnitude for the result component can yield both positive and negative values.
