Open Symbol . Opens the symbol in the
modification interface to change its graphics, attributes, or

Add to library . Adds the inserted symbol to
Symbol management. For
more information, see Adding a New Symbol.

Opens a dialog box that lets you edit the component and allocate the
mark, location and function, enter data specific to the component, and
allocate a manufacturer part. For more information, see Component Properties. |

Insert in terminal
strip . Inserts the symbol in a terminal
strip. Select the terminal strip in the terminal strip
selector.
Assign
manufacturer parts . Assigns one or more manufacturer
parts with the symbol.
Remove manufacturer parts . Removes
manufacturer parts associated with the symbol.
Insert symbol . Inserts a symbol of
this component.
Insert connection label for components . Inserts a
connection label associated with components.

Go to browser. Displays the list of symbols associated with the selected component
in the Components tab. This feature is used if the component is defined
by a very large number of symbols. |
Update black box
 |
Updates the black box. For more information, see Updating a Black Box. |
Add connection point
 |
Adds connection points around the outline of the black box. |
Delete connection point
 |
Deletes connection points on the black box. |

Wire cabling order . Produces the cabling order upstream or

Move

Moves the symbol. |
Cut
 |
Copies the symbol into the SOLIDWORKS Electrical Clipboard. The
symbol is deleted. |
Copy
 |
Copies the symbol into the SOLIDWORKS Electrical Clipboard. |
Copy with insertion point
 |
Copies the symbol into the SOLIDWORKS Electrical Clipboard and asks
to specify the insertion point. |
Hyperlink
 |
Creates or edits a link to an external file. |

|
Deletes the symbol from the drawing. |
