Autonaming generates unique
Titles
for new or existing SOLIDWORKS parts, assemblies, and drawings when you save them to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
Autonaming does not change
the original file names. The system administrator activates autonaming on
the server side.
Autonaming is not applied to Toolbox or PartSupply files.
In the Save As New dialog box, you can
change the autonamed title to be more meaningful.
If
autonaming is enabled, the file name retains the original
autogenerated name.
