Saving a Template

You can save a template after modifying its details. The templates are created either as Create as Released or Create as Private.The templates that are created using the Create as Private command are editable.

1. Open a template that is saved in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
2. Save the file in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform by doing one of the following:
   • In SOLIDWORKS, click File > Save to 3DEXPERIENCE or File > Save as Template.
   • In MySession, right-click the file and click Save or Save with Options.
   • In MySession, from the action bar, click Save Active Window.
3. In the Save Template dialog box, enter the following information:
   The title of the dialog box also displays the name of the collaborative space.

   Field Name	Description
   Title	The title of the template. By default, the file name of the template is the title.
   Description	The description of the template.

4. Click Save to save the modified fields.
