Use the AM_ConstPar2 command to create a construction line that is parallel to a specified linear entity at half of the specified distance. You can create parallel construction lines for lines, rays, or xlines.
You can switch between a ray and an xline using the AM_ConstSWI command.
To create a parallel construction line at half of a distance specified using points:
- Do one of the following:
- On the ribbon, click Home > Construction Lines > Construction Lines > Parallel with Half Distance.
- Type AM_ConstPar2.
- In the graphics area, specify the linear entity the construction line is parallel to.
