Toolbox - Add Revision Dialog Box

Use the Toolbox - Add Revision dialog box to insert a row of revision information into a revision table.

To open the Toolbox - Add Revision dialog box, do one of the following:

  • Click Insert Revision (Mechanical toolbar) or click Mechanical Annotate > Revision Table > Insert Revision.

Data

Option Description
Zone (Optional)
Specifies the grid location for drawings with grids.
Revision Numbers the revision automatically as you add each new revision.
You can modify this number. However, if you reindex the revision table, your modifications are overwritten by the automatic numbering scheme.
Date (Optional)
Specifies the revision date.
Type a date or click the button to the right of the field to populate the field with the current date.
Description (Optional)
Describes the revision.
If you enter a description longer than the Description field in the revision table, you can resize the table by typing Recreate revision table in the Command window.
Approved (Optional)
Specifies the person approving the revision.

Command: AM_AddRevision

Menu: Mechanical Annotate > Revision Table > Insert Revision

Mechanical toolbar: Insert Revision

Ribbon: Mechanical Annotate > Revision Table > Insert Revision
