Loading Assemblies in MySession with Dynamic Tree Expansion

By default, MySession loads the full assembly tree, which can be slow for large or complex assemblies. Dynamic tree expansion improves responsiveness by showing only the top level of the assembly initially, and expanding more as required. This loading method makes it easier to navigate assemblies.

To enable dynamic tree expansion, go to the action bar and navigate to Tools > Options > Refresh MySession after opening files. Clear the option to allow dynamic tree expansion.

To view assemblies in MySession with dynamic tree expansion:

  1. Click + next to a node to expand the node one level at a time.
  2. Right-click on any node to reveal more levels in the assembly structure using the following:
    • Expand All to fully, expand that branch.
    • Collapse All to minimize it.
  3. Use the View options in the action bar:
    • Expand All
    • Expand in Levels
    • Collapse All
