Defining Contact Between the Top Plate and the Groove In the Simulation study tree, right-click the Connections icon and select Local Interaction. In the PropertyManager: For Type, select Contact. Under Type, click in the Faces, Edges, Vertices for Set 1 box and select the two faces of the Groove highlighted in blue in the figure below. Under Type, click in the Faces for Set 2 box and select the lower face of the Top_Plate highlighted in pink.
