Meshing the Model for h-Adaptive and Running the Study

You can start with any mesh. In this tutorial, you mesh the model with a large element size to demonstrate how the h-method changes the mesh to improve accuracy.

1. To remesh the model, in the Simulation study tree, right-click Mesh and click Create Mesh .
   The Mesh PropertyManager appears.
2. Under Mesh Parameters in the Global Size box , type 10.0 (inches).
   This large value of the Global Size is used to demonstrate how the h-adaptive method refines the mesh.
3. Click .
   When meshing completes, you view the mesh in the Graphics Area.
   
   
4. To run the study, right-click the study icon and select Run .
