Meshing the Model

In the Simulation study tree, right-click the Mesh

icon and select Create Mesh.

The following settings are applied to tutorials by default.

Mesh Parameters settings

Standard mesh	Selected
Global Size	Calculated by the mesh algorithm
Tolerance	Calculated by the mesh algorithm
Automatic transition	Selected

Advanced settings

Jacobian points (for solid mesh only)	16 points
Automatic trials for solid (for solid mesh only)	Selected
Number of trials	3
Remesh failed parts independently	Selected

Mesh Quality

High

In the PropertyManager, under Mesh Parameters:
1. Make sure Standard mesh is selected.
2. Set Unit to m.
3. Set the Global Size to 0.1.
4. Under Options, Click Run (solve) the analysis.
Click .
