Plotting vonMises Stresses on the Top Face of the Shell Result plots are defined at the last solution step. You can define field plots at any other solution step. Click any of the following links to learn how to generate a specific result plot. Right-click the Results folder and select Define Stress Plot. In the PropertyManager, under Display make sure of following settings: VON: von Mises Stress is selected for Component . N/m^2 is selected for Units . Top is selected for Shell Face . Under Plot Step, make sure that Plot Step is set to 10. In Property: Click the downward arrow in the Property box to expand it. Check Associate plot with name view orientation to select *Front from the menu. Click . The following plot is displayed. The von Mises stress is displayed in N/m^2.
