Opening the Piping Assembly

The assembly has four components, filter, flange, reducer, and regulator. You define two sets of bolt connectors between (a) the reducer and filter and (b) the reducer, flange and regulator. Design the bolt connectors to withstand 1,000 psi of internal pressure.

Browse to drive letter:\Users\Public\Public Documents\SOLIDWORKS\SOLIDWORKS version\samples\Simulation Examples\PipingAssembly.SLDASM and open the file.
Click the Partial study tab.
The fixtures, loads, contact sets, and material properties are already defined.

A contact interaction is required for parts connected with bolts.
